PrivateStay offers a Free plan and a Pro plan for hosts. Guests always use the platform for free — plans only apply to hosts managing a listing.
What the Free plan includes
The Free plan gives you everything you need to get started: one property listing, up to 20 gallery photos, one pricing tier, and your listing in two languages (English plus one other). You can sync one external calendar via iCal. Access requests, direct messaging, booking management, automated arrival and departure emails, and reviews are all included.
What Pro adds
Pro removes the limits and unlocks a handful of features that matter at scale. You can manage multiple properties, upload as many photos as you like, set unlimited pricing tiers, and publish in all five languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German). DeepL auto-translation is available for every content section, so you are not translating manually. You can sync unlimited external calendars, send broadcast messages to all your followers at once, and connect a custom domain to your listing page.
Who the Free plan is for
The Free plan is a great starting point if you:
- Manage one property
- Primarily host in one language
- Have a small, stable circle of guests
- Don't need multi-platform calendar sync beyond one channel
Who the Pro plan is for
Upgrade to Pro if you:
- Need unlimited gallery photos for a high-quality presentation
- Publish in multiple languages
- Want to use DeepL to auto-translate your listing
- Sync your PrivateStay calendar with multiple external platforms
- Want to send broadcast messages to all your followers
- Are setting up a custom domain for your listing
Platform fee on stays
Neither plan includes a commission on stays. PrivateStay does not take a percentage of what guests pay you. The Pro plan subscription is a flat monthly or annual fee charged directly to you by Stripe.
Upgrading
To upgrade to Pro, go to Dashboard → Subscription and select your plan. Payment is handled securely via Stripe.
