After a stay, both guests and hosts can leave a review. Reviews help build trust across the platform and give both parties a reliable record of their stay.
When reviews become available
Reviews are unlocked once the check-out date has passed. You cannot leave a review before the stay has ended.
Leaving a review for the host
After your check-out date, you will be invited to review the host. Your review includes:
- A star rating from 1 to 5
- A written comment — a description of your experience
Guest reviews of hosts are public and displayed on the host's profile page. Anyone can read them.
Receiving a review from the host
After your checkout, the host may also leave a review of you as a guest. Host-to-guest reviews are private — only you and the host can see them. They are not displayed publicly.
Note
As a guest, you cannot see what a host writes about you unless they share it with you. Private reviews are used by hosts for their own reference and do not appear on any public profile.
Host replies to reviews
A host can reply once to any public review you leave. Their reply is displayed alongside your review on their profile. Hosts cannot edit or remove your review.
Can I edit or delete my review?
Contact support if you need to edit or remove a review you have left. Reviews are generally kept as a permanent record of the stay.
Review integrity
Reviews can only be left by guests who have had an approved booking at the property, after the check-out date has passed. This prevents fake reviews from people who never stayed.
