Creating an account on PrivateStay is free and takes under a minute. The same account works whether you are using the platform as a host or as a guest — there is no separate registration for each role.
Sign up
- Go to privatestay.club and click Sign up
- Enter your email address and choose a password
- Check your email for a confirmation link and click it to verify your address
- You are in — complete your profile to get started
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
PrivateStay supports two-factor authentication (2FA) via an authenticator app. This adds a second layer of security to your account.
Enable 2FA
- Go to Dashboard → Account → Security
- Click Enable two-factor authentication
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, or any TOTP app)
- Enter the six-digit code from your app to confirm
Once enabled, every sign-in will require both your password and the current code from your authenticator app.
Warning
Store your authenticator app backup codes in a safe place. If you lose access to your authenticator app without backup codes, account recovery will require contacting support.
Sign in
Go to privatestay.club/sign-in, enter your email and password. If 2FA is enabled, you will be prompted for a verification code after entering your password.
Forgot your password?
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? and enter your email address. You will receive a link to reset your password.
