Letters lets you send an email to all approved followers of your property at once — useful for seasonal announcements, availability windows, special offers, or any update you want to share with your guest list. This is available on the Pro plan.
How Letters works
Letters are managed from Dashboard → Letters. When you open the page, you'll see three sections. Templates are layouts you've saved to reuse — handy if you send a similar update each season. Drafts are letters you've started writing but haven't sent yet. And Sent is your history of everything you've already sent out, showing the date and how many people received each one.
Creating a campaign
- Go to Dashboard → Letters
- Click New letter
- Write a subject line and your email content
- If your listing is published in multiple languages, you can write the email in each language — PrivateStay will send each follower in their preferred language
- Click Send to send immediately, or save as a draft to return to later
Before sending, you will see a count of how many followers will receive the campaign.
Templates
If you send regular updates (e.g. a seasonal availability announcement each spring), save any email as a template. Templates appear in the Templates tab and can be duplicated and edited for each new send without starting from scratch.
Tracking your sends
Each sent campaign shows the recipient count so you can track your reach over time. Click on any sent campaign to view its delivery statistics.
Note
Campaigns are one-way — they are not a group message thread. Followers who want to reply will send you an individual direct message, which you will receive in your Messages inbox.
Email preferences and opt-outs
Followers can opt out of broadcast emails from their Account → Email Preferences page. Followers who have unsubscribed from broadcasts will not receive your campaigns, even if they are approved.
Upgrade to Pro
Email campaigns are a Pro plan feature. If you are on the Free plan, upgrade in Dashboard → Subscription to access this and other Pro features.
